Hey Royal Fam!
Things are super busy this way as I prepare for the relaunch of the accessories collection for Queen Adwoa's Closet webstore! With so much going on, I have to admit that I fell into a bit a style rut (gasp right? .. LOL!) 2am work sessions don't necessarily lend themselves to creating fun sassy looks in the morning. To break the cycle, I decided to inject a few comfy, reliable classics into the wardrobe, while trying something a bit new.
In this week's look I paired a vintage black jumper with and olive colored duster coat for my usual pop of color. What I love about this jumper is that it's such an effortless choice. You literally step in, zip up, and you're dressed! ... Throw on a bright coat and a statement leather purse (in this case one of my favorites from Coach) and you're good to go. You can never go wrong with classics.
Now for our something new! Like I said, things have been super busy lately, so you can imagine that I've really no time to play with my hair. That said, by now you probably have already guessed my go to option is always a head-wrap. Rather than my usual turbanista look seen in other "Daily Fashion Fix" posts, I tried to mix my wrapping style up and create a fun bow in the front ... note I said tried LOL! .. It could have come out a bit better, but I'm so glad I took the chance to try something new! I selected this head-wrap fabric quickly using my "Color Pop method." Fulani tribe earrings from Mali, W. Africa and gold shoes finish the outfit and I'm out the door. Even at my busiest, there's no reason to look boring!
