No matter how how old I get, there's just a part of me that will always love all things girly! Dresses, twirly skirts, accessories, fairy princess sparkles, and of course ... PINK!

Winter time has finally arrived to New York City and with the colder temps, fulfilling my girly-girl fashion cravings requires a bit more creativity. Winter in New York, typically means dressing this unspoken uniform of various blacks and greys .. almost as if the whole city is in mourning from the loss of summer. After 9 years of city living, I think it's safe to say I've adopted a bit of the darker fashion pallet myself ... but as always, I add my own twist.

By now, you know, the old soul in me absolutely love all things vintage. Here, my look is highlighted with an inexpensive pair of dark-wash, high-rise "mom jeans" ... which right now, is perfect for hiding all my chee-chos (little chubby bits) from all the holiday eating, while I get my super hot yoga body back lol. My second vintage piece is, of course, another coach bag (this time in black)! This past summer, I rediscovered the simplicity of leather Coach purses and I'm really enjoying them right now. They add a quiet touch of luxe to nearly any outfit, while giving you this look of "polished" even if your leaving the house in a hurry. This particular black purse, I was able to pilfer (with permission) from my mom's closet. Looking to add classic item like this to your own to your personal collection? Finally, to brighten up what could have totally been an outfit colored in drab, I decided to add pops of color throughout. As I mentioned, I'm really a fan of all things girly ... and what better way than a bubble gum pink wool car coat and over the knee socks lol. Paired with navy blue booties and paisley colored scarf worn as a head wrap, this was such a comfy, weekend look.
